Coil coatings generally consist of four basic components: film-forming materials (resins), pigments (including extender pigments), solvents, and additives. Coil coating is a continuous film that is applied to the surface of a protected or decorated object and can form a strong adhesion to the object to be coated. It is usually based on resin, oil or emulsion, with or without pigments and fillers. A viscous liquid prepared by adding an auxiliary agent and using an organic solvent or water.
Coil coatings extend the life of finished products and increase their value. The top coat of coil coating has excellent decorative and protection and durability. Generally, the surface coating is made of polyester resin with excellent light resistance, weather resistance and impact processing. Acrylate resin and fluorocarbon modified poly Ester, silicone modified polyester resin is made of main material. The cross-linking agent can be selected from methyl etherified amino resin with high weather resistance, hardness and flexibility, or aliphatic blocked isocyanate resin, which is highly resistant to post-processing.
